I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Summary
Application security requires data security supported by a standardized and consistent application development process. The ONF and ANF provide the standardization and the ASMP delivers the consistency. Cloud computing is often referred to as the industrialization of IT, but that value can be irretrievably damaged by a flawed application development process. Applications are key to an ability to deliver value with any solution so the architect should definitely drive toward the ideals presented in this chapter.
