Estimating Power to Speakers
It’s one of those hard facts of life that once a speaker voice coil is burned out, it cannot be fixed and the whole driver usually has to be replaced. Also, the program from that particular channel or frequency band comes to a halt, and action has to be taken to restore it to keep the show going.
Avoiding this sort of trouble is the subject of much advice and speculation, whether you are engaged in using, selling, hiring out, or servicing the equipment in question.
