What do cable TV and the line-up of Bluetooth beacon vendors have in common? The answer is “choice,” or to be more precise, the paradox of choice. As of writing this chapter, there are over 300 beacon vendors listed in our sister1 online database of Proximity Solution Providers (PSPs), Proxbook (see Figure 7-1). There are so many choices that it can feel like “there’s nothing on”.
