7.6LUCENE AND SOLR
It is simply put that Lucene (full text search engine) is an open source technology for building
up full text indexes on databases. The wrapper on top of that is called Solr, which really provides
high-level indexing services. Interestingly, the creator of Lucene and Hadoop are the same person
