It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

11.6 MAKING TECHNOLOGY CHOICES
When it comes to technology, there is a variety of options we have to choose from. Let us look at
some of the major ones.
It is important to decide whether one wants to use Big Data technology or more conventional
data warehouse and BI technologies. If one is going with Big Data technology, then it is to be
decided whether one wants to use Hadoop or NoSQL or NewSQL. The deciding factor is whether
these databases are necessary and sufficient to provide the kind of data analysis one will need to
