In this chapter, we will use the Raspberry Pi 3 Model 3. It is the most powerful Raspberry Pi and belongs to the third generation of devices in its family. It replaces the Raspberry Pi 2 Model B and includes the following:

- 1 GB of RAM
- Four USB ports
- 40 GPIO ports
- 802.11n wireless LAN
- Bluetooth 4.1
- Full HDMI and Ethernet ports
- MicroSD card slot
- 3.5 mm audio jack
- Camera and display interface
- VideoCore IV SoC GPU core
