15 ROUTES INTO TECH

INTRODUCTION

It is never too late to consider a career in tech. Whatever study you have already done, there are relevant routes for you; see Figure 15.1. Some routes are more specific, leading to a particular role. Others are more general, leading to a range of possible roles. It is important to research the types of roles that seem interesting to you, and also consider that there is a lot of potential for mobility within a tech career.
