4.3 Data Moving
The Data Moving Service is a service that was introduced in Software
Distribution V4.1. The Data Moving Service enables the sending, retrieving, and
deleting of files from target systems.
All data moving operations use the same software package object,
DataMovingRequests.1. This object contains certain standard information to be
used by all data moving operations, including logging options. If this object is not
available, no data moving operation can be performed from the CLI or the
