Cross-Departmental or Cross-Functional Change Management Teams

ATD asked participants if their orga-

nization had cross-departmental or

cross-functional change management

teams. As Figure 9 shows, 20 percent

of organizations had one, and another

8 percent planned to add one in the

next year.

Participants whose organization had

cross-departmental or cross-functional

change management teams were then

asked about the maturity of their team

(Figure 10). The majority of teams

were under five years of age, and about

a third were zero to two years old.
