So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

打零工的程式員從一項任務換到另一項任務，從一個工作換到另一
個。工作日是由一系列軟體元件的建構與維護工作組成的：撰寫新
的部件，把部件組合在一起、擴充、改善或修補既有的程式片段。
所以我們的工作只是一連串較小型的工作。它是不斷重複的。程式
員喜歡這種事情。
我們已經到位了嗎？

很快的，你會遇到經理唸著：

這是一個很重要的問題。對軟體開發人員而言，必須能夠回答這一個簡單的問題：知道
“完成”長怎樣，及真正知道你距離“完成”還有多遠。接著依此溝通。
