clear command
Description
A clear
command erases counters
for various statistics or performs a reset action. For example, clear line
clears an asynchronous line and drops the connection, while clear cdp counters
resets the Cisco Discovery Protocol statistics. Table 17-4 summarizes the many clear
commands.
