Request For Comments. A document series that is the primary means of communicating information about the Internet. Some RFCs are designated by the IAB as Internet standards. Most RFCs document protocol specifications.

RIPE NCC.

Réseaux IP Européens Network Coordination Center. One of the three regional Internet registries in the world that can allocate production IPv6 spaces to ISPs. RIPE NCC covers Europe and the Middle East.

RIPng.

Routing Information Protocol next generation. An enhanced version of RIP that supports IPv6. RIPng is an IGP. See RFC 2080.
