SELECTVOLUMECONTEXT1 PLUG-IN
The SelectVolumeContextl plug-in demonstrates the following.
• Supporting mouse dragging
• Using a custom locator for drawing 3D guides
• Reacting to the Delete, Backspace, and Enter keys
• Supporting Maya's numerical input field
The selectVolumeContextl context is designed to allow the user to draw a series of
3D volumes (spheres and tubes) across the ground plane. All mesh vertices within
these 3D volumes will be selected. Figure 11.6 shows a flat mesh plane. Several 3D
guide volumes have been created using the selectVolumeContextl context.
