I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Leadership development that is life changing is at the core of creating the accountability culture. Gone are the days of the 10 Steps to Great Leadership, the Eight Laws of Successful Leaders or the 12 Attributes of Those at the Top. Instead, our focus is on creating a gentle balance between activating the intellect with new and exciting science, while exploring our emotional capacity, combined with a willingness to understand what it is to be truly human. I refer to this as the gentle balance between science and spirituality and our willingness to be open enough to explore who we really are.
