Chapter 7. Monitoring and tuning of DB2 UDB V8 285
7.3.9 Tablespace
When using DMS tablespace it is necessary to check if there is enough space
available in the tablespaces. Use the snapshot monitor for tablespaces and look
for the available and used pages in the containers. With the command ALTER
TABLESPACE name_of_tabblespace ADD CONTAINER... you can add
containers to a tablespace.
Note: With DB2 UDB V8 it is now possible to drop containers (if there is
enough space in the other containers to store the data of the container you
want to drop), reduce the size of containers, and add containers without
rebalancing the data.

I wanted to learn C and C++, but it didn't click for me until I picked up an O'Reilly book. When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.

I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.
