Multi-row mode has the notion of thread-specific data. Thread-specific data is
defined as session data that was added or removed while executing under this
thread. If End of servlet service or Manual update modes are used and Only
updated attributes is enabled, then only the thread-specific data is written to the
database.
8.2.6 Invalidating sessions
Sessions should be invalidated when the user no longer needs the session
object (for example, the user has logged off the site). Invalidating a session
removes it from the session cache, as well as from the persistent store.
