Diagnostic information collection is most useful for identifying then resolving
functionality issues, but could also do good for performance issue investigation in
many situations. For example, you could use diagnostic information to identify
which step or steps are contributing the most time for a time-consuming
application, then focus on the specific step or steps to find out the underlying
reasons of the long execution time, and make adjustments accordingly.
