Chapter 5. Operational setup
In this chapter we discuss the general steps to get DB2 UDB V8 and WebSphere
Application Server V5 working together to serve specific business and
application requirements. The new DB2 EJB sample application named
“AcessEmployee” is introduced in detail to provide you with the basic process of
how to fit DB2 UDB V8 and WebSphere Application Server V5 together. In
addition, we also discuss the available JDBC drivers shipped with DB2 UDB V8
and the differences between those drivers.
