Retrieve a list of Employees
This service does not use Entity EJBs. The service displays a potentially large
list of employee ids and names. Since the query is simple and the objects are
not modified, the application directly accesses the DB2 database using
JDBC. The method getEmpNoList in the AccessEmployee session bean
performs this service.
EJB best practices have been utilized as much as possible for this sample
application. The “Session Facade” design pattern is used throughout the
implementation. A servlet called AccessEmpServlet will delegate data access
requests to the AccessEmployee stateless sess
