An elegant way to visualize the strengths and weaknesses between different design concepts, this involves listing the specific elements that are important for the design concept to be successful, then rating each element (these could be colour coded). After rating all the concepts, step back and then proceed to filter them based on how well they fit within the different requirements. Make a selection of the most promising ones.

An attractive idea would then need to be transformed into a product concept which would appeal to its chosen market audience, with the company also being able to effectively and efficiently develop it according to its available resources.
