There are multiple approaches to defining the portfolio of services that will be delivered as part of an SOA. There is no one-size-fits-all for an approach to identify the right services needed to support current and future requirements. Service should be cataloged into service domains that will define the ownership, funding, usage rights, and categorization of the services.
