When we decide how to implement a mobile application, we realize that there is another animal on this planet. It's the hybrid species that combines some of the advantages of native apps with the advantages of HTML5 development. This is the way Oracle has chosen for Mobile Application Framework, formerly known as ADF Mobile. In a nutshell: you wrap your HMTL5 application into a container, and this container provides JavaScript APIs for the native features of a device to make them accessible in a standardized way.
