Organizational Design Challenges and Opportunities Resulting from Big Data
The subject of big data has literally burst on the scene in the past few years. Recall our definition earlier that big data refers to the volume, variety, and velocity of data today, combined with analytics to extract insights from those data. Today big data are receiving more than their fair share of media hype. But if we look beyond the hype, we can see some real substance that underlies the phenomenon.
