It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Setting and agreeing to goals is common for all organizations and is the next step in setting up your Developer Relations program. DevRel is often misunderstood, and we have observed this is often self-perpetuated to some degree by the lack of consistency across DevRel programs on goal setting.
Understanding your company’s direction and setting program goals that link your activities to the things that are important to your company while demonstrating DevRel value can be hard.
