Appendix B. WebSphere Integration Developer Installation
WebSphere Integration Developer (WID) can be installed on Windows 2000, Windows 2003, Windows XP Professional, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server. Refer to the product specifications for the exact versions of the operating systems. Here, we illustrate the steps to install WID v6.0.2 on a Windows XP machine.
Installing WebSphere Integration Developer
You can use the graphical interface or the command-line facility to install WID. Either way, before installing the product, make sure you have defined an environment variable TEMP
and that it points to a valid temporary directory with at least 1 GB of free space. We normally use the graphical installation wizard.
