THE BASICS
Before you jump into trying the shots and projects in this book, you need
to learn the basics of digital photography. First, I provide a brief history
on the DSLR to give you an idea of how technology has changed the ease
of use (and the price!) of digital cameras. I also look at the special features
of a digital camera, such as auto settings; the LCD monitor; and menu,
histogram, and info buttons.
