SETTING UP A HOME
STUDIO
If you’d like to have a studio that’s readily accessible,
you can set up one in your home. Creating a
comfortable workspace in your home isn’t as dicult
as it may seem.
Here’s the equipment you need for a home studio
setup:
• A backdrop, such as a large piece of paper that’s
neutral in color or a roll of photo background
paper, and a backdrop stand to hold it in place
• Head extension cables to connect the lights to
the power pack
• A light modier, such as an umbrella
• Lighting, such as a strobe, and a light stand
• A power pack to charge and re your lights
• Sandbags to hold the stands in place
