CREATING MOTION BLUR
When creating motion-blur photographs, you’ll learn to apply a variety of techniques that will allow you to
make great-looking images from subject matter that otherwise might look boring and mundane. e most
common technique is to slow your shutter speed down to 1/60 or 1/30 and let your subject just pass through the
frame, which blurs the subject. You can also keep that same shutter speed setting and pan with your subject,
thereby allowing your background to become blurry while your subject remains relatively sharp. However you
