I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

e goal of macro photography is to
capture the nest detail in small objects,
which sometimes requires a specialized
lens. Close-up photography is about simply
capturing subjects in close range and
doesn’t call for any special lenses. ey
may seem highly specialized at rst, but
once you master them, you open up a
whole new world for your image-taking.
For this image, I sought to show the
marathon runner’s legs, as well as the
specialized shoes she was wearing. But I
also wanted to catch a glimpse of the sur-
rounding area and the vast hills in which
the runner trains.
