I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Shooting pictures of a family with children can be fun and adventurous if you allow everything to unfold natu-
rally. It can also be one of the most dicult shoots to do well, because people’s insecurities can come out when
they’re in front of a camera. I’ve found it best to allow the pictures to come to me with very little direction. When
shooting the picture of this mother with her son, I allowed them the freedom to be themselves—to smile and
laugh—so I could capture them in their world, not mine.
