DIRECTING YOUR SUBJECT
With every shoot involving people, you
have to wear a second hat—you assume
the role of both a photographer and a
director. It doesn’t matter how the subject
is participating in the shoot—for you to get
the image you want, you must know how
to direct that person. Once you gain some
experience in this area, you’ll get to a point
where you can direct multiple subjects in
a way that’s acceptable and not considered
“bossy” or “demanding.”
