For each main analysis model run, the age at diagnosis was sampled (with
replacement) for 2,000 entities from the corresponding age-based subsets
(patients aged 50to 69years, and aged 70 years and over) of the observed
407women with early breast cancer at moderate risk of recurrence. Theadher-
ence rate for the scenario being analyzed was set and applied to all the simu-
