4.5 SIMULATION OF CONVERTERS WITH
FORCED-COMMUTATED DEVICES
In this paragraph, the model examples of the electronics sets and the use of forced-
commutated devices are considered. Model4_6 is a model of the two-level VSI,
whose diagram is shown in Figure 4.4b. VSI receives the input DC voltage from
the diode rectier. Both the inverter and the rectier are modeled by the blocks
Universal Bridge. For smoothing of the voltage pulsation in DC link, the capacitor
C = 5 mF is used. The rectier is powered from the source 380 V, 50 Hz through the
transformer 50 kVA, 380/600 V.
