NoNOx
NoNOx A two-stage combustion system that does not produce oxides of nitrogen. The rst stage operates
under reducing conditions, at a controlled, low partial pressure of oxygen. The second stage uses a small
excess of oxygen. Developed by Boliden Contech, Sweden, originally for the roasting of arsenical pyrite, but
now used principally for incinerating waste.
