BOLD FREEHAND DRAWING
Use
Bold freehand drawings are used where there is a need for
clear simple drawings, e.g. for printed instructions, lectures
and illustrated articles.
Aids
Bold drawings are those where important lines are given
prominence and all construction lines are removed. This can
be done by lining in and rubbing out or by photographic
techniques. The main aids are drawing tools with thick black
points and possibly photographic equipment.
Methods
The boldness can be created in the following ways:
