Use

For representing the relationship between three or more parameters.

Characteristics

Such diagrams need supplementary text, as only the connection

between two variables can be drawn in a single plane figure. Where

the parameters, other than those represented by the two coordinates,

can take on more than one value, the diagram must be more

specifically defined.
