So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Assessing the Status Quo
Imagine a product delivery organization similar to the one presented in Section 2.1, Misalignment. In an organization like that, the developers may not understand why they should be doing operations. The operations engineers may not provide frameworks to enable the developers to do operations. The managers may not promote the topic, let alone fund it. What might unite the organization, though, is the desire to finally reduce ongoing high-profile customer escalations of production outages.
