Power Query M Code Approximate Match Lookup Formula

The goal of this chapter is to learn how to write a Power Query M Code formula to perform an approximate match lookup. Although in an Excel Worksheet we have function like VLOOKUP to perform approximate match lookups, the equivalent single function does not exist in Power Query. To follow along with the examples in this article, open the Excel Workbook file named “MikeGirvinPowerQueryApproximateMatchLookup”.
