I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Configuring CephFS for the Manila backend
In the next configuration exercise, we will use the CephFS driver for Manila to map shared file systems to instances using the Ceph native protocol:
- Edit the /etc/manila/manila.conf configuration file to specify the desired CephFS driver to be used. Additionally, specify the types of protocols for share communication as follows:
[Default] enabled_share_backends = generic,cephfs enabled_share_protocols = NFS,CEPHFS
- Add a new backend driver section named as specified in the enabled_share_backends directive for cephfs:
