
On the other hand, several areas are beyond the scope of this
chapter. For example, this chapter does not cover how to specifically
audit or hack a network—that is a different subject. Also, this chapter
does not discuss which firewall is better than others. Each firewall has
its own advantages and disadvantages. What is going to make or break
you is not choosing the best firewall, but implementing it correctly.
In other words, that was the purpose of this chapter: to make sure
your firewall was implemented correctly and behaves as you would
expect it to.
