Abuse of privilege: When a user performs an action that he or she
should not have, according to organizational policy or law.
Access control: A mechanism for limiting use of some resource (system)
to authorized users.
Access control list (ACL): A list associated with a resource (system)
that specifies the authorized users.
Access Control Lists: Rules for packet filters (typically routers) that
define which packets to pass and which to block.
