I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
13.1. Creating site navigation with sprites
Figure 13-2 shows a completed site design built in Fireworks. Notice that the navigation, located at the top center of Figure 13-2, is mocked up to show a hover state as well as active, focus, or selected state scenarios. To allow this type of functionality in a working web site, we'll need to re-create the navigation on its own page and export it out as a single bitmap separate from the rest of the export slices.
