I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
3.4. Drawing tools
In addition to the selection tools, Fireworks includes a number of tools that let you paint, erase, and alter your target bitmap. We'll step through each tool and review its capabilities and settings.
3.4.1. Pencil tool
The Pencil tool is used to draw fine lines at 1 px in diameter. It's great for drawing very small, precise bitmap objects like bullets or arrows, or cleaning up resized icons for better clarity at low resolution. To use the Pencil tool, press the B key until the Pencil tool icon is highlighted in the Tools panel. Now click and drag on any bitmap layer or object.
