It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
12.1. Phase 1: Project planning and preparation
A good proposal and contract can be the most important phase of the entire project. Specify as much detail as possible. This is for the protection of you and your client. It protects your relationship and will determine the success or failure of the project.
A good proposal is based on a requirements document that outlines what type of content will be in the site, core functionality of the site, promotional elements, and advertising requirements. In Fireworks, these requirements will translate into pages, layers, design elements, and states.
