I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
11.2. Learning the basics of an advanced workflow
Before you start creating anything—JavaScript, Flash files, Flex projects, and so forth—it's important that you understand the big picture of Fireworks extensibility and get a firm grasp of the basic concepts and ideas. Consider for a moment all of the various actions you've performed while working in Fireworks: you've drawn elements on the canvas, scaled them, rotated them, applied filters to them; you've create layers and pages and named and renamed them; you've applied fill colors and strokes and edited them endlessly; and much more.
