I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

The book is dedicated to Robert Dilts. Robert was one of the original group of students at the University of California at Santa Cruz when NLP was created in the 1970s: since that time he has professionalised and systematised the discipline and in my view has become its leading thinker. He is the creator of a number of the NLP coaching models and processes in this book. He is also one of the best coaches in the world; it was at the 2003 International Coaching Federation annual conference, where he was the keynote speaker, that I got to know him and received an informal coaching session that changed my life.
