This book builds on and describes how to apply the Interaction Styles model, which was developed by Linda Berens in the US, and published in 2001. It is based on research she carried out over 20 years into personality type and temperament (Carl Jung1, Keirsey and Bates2), and it also draws on work on observable behaviour patterns (such as Merrill and Reid’s3 social styles theory that was further developed by Bolton and Bolton4, and the work of Marston5, Geier and Downey6).
