Everything we do or say has an impact on others, whether we intend it or not. Even when other people are not present, we instinctively communicate feelings through our facial expressions. When watching a film or reading a book, we react verbally and physically, even when there is no one present to see or hear us. And if someone is present, what we do or say has some impact on them, and the impact influences how they respond to us.
