I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Software Management
Software Management under SAM uses Software Distributor-HP-UX (I'll call this Software Distributor), which was covered in detail in Chapter 2. SAM is giving you an interface to Software Distributor that allows you to perform software management by selecting the task you want to perform. In the end, all of the same Software Distributor commands are run, so I won't cover those again in this section. The following subareas exist under Software Management in SAM:
Copy Software to Depot
Install Software to Local Host
List Software
Remove Software
