When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Font Paths
You can set-up a font server on your HP-UX system to provide an Xserver with the CDE fonts required to properly display CDE on the system. Please follow the steps below on every HP-UX system you want to act as a font server. When connecting a PC using an Xserver program you can make all of the systems on which you want to run CDE font servers using the following procedure:
1. | Append the following line to the end of /usr/dt/config/xfonts/C/
RUN_X_FONT_SERVER=1 |
2. | Stop any font server processes that may be running with the following command:
/sbin/init.d/xfs stop |
3. | Start the font server with the following command:
/sbin/init.d/xfs start |
4. | Add each font server to the font path using the following steps:
